Episode: 05 Te’Jani
Te’Jani, an old friend of the brothers, has become a staple in the Charlotte live scene over the last few years. He welcomed us into his Charlotte home on a humid morning. We started the session outside under his carport — where he can be found sharing a smoke in the evenings with his roommates. The mosquitos and an undeterred lawn crew quickly ended our outdoor set, so we moved into the kitchen where Te’Jani gave the only shirtless performance of the season. Between laughs and poetic rabbit trails, he shared an intimate acoustic set — and insights into the artistic process.
We can’t wait to see how Te’Jani’s sound continues to develop — as he stirs his unique blend of emo-rock & hip hop.
